{"id":236,"date":"2023-06-21T11:47:56","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T11:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.malagasunapartments.com\/blog\/?p=236"},"modified":"2023-06-21T11:47:57","modified_gmt":"2023-06-21T11:47:57","slug":"expo-2027-in-malaga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.malagasunapartments.com\/blog\/en\/expo-2027-in-malaga\/","title":{"rendered":"EXPO 2027 in Malaga?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Today, June 21, it will be decided whether Malaga will finally be the ideal candidate to host this great international event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Among the candidates are 5 countries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">USA (Minnesota)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Thailand (Phuket)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Serbia (Belgrade)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Spain (Malaga)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Argentina (San Carlos de Bariloche) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">What is the 2027 International Exhibition about? Today this project focuses on making the growth of the city and urban development compatible with the <strong>protection of the environment <\/strong>as its main objective. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/es\/objetivos-de-desarrollo-sostenible\/\">Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The proposition of this coastal city has been named as <strong>&#8220;La Era Urbana: hacia la ciudad sostenible&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The duration of the event can range from a maximum of 3 months. In addition, the location of the exhibition would take place in the Buenavista area (location of <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/BwaxTxQi4qL1nzeJ7\">Campanillas<\/a> in the capital). This location takes place near the University of Malaga (UMA), the Technological Park of Andalusia and the Palace of Fairs and Congresses (close to public transportation to facilitate access to the event). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">What economic impact would it have on the city of Malaga?
