But how many types of coffee are there in Malaga? Many of our guests are surprised, since ordering a coffee does not seem to be an easy task…Why?

In the capital there 10 types of coffee!

  • Solo 100% coffee (without any milk).
  • Largo: 90% coffee and 10% milk.
  • Semi largo: 80% coffee (without milk).
  • Solo corto: 60% coffee (without milk).
  • Mitad: 50% coffee and 50% milk.
  • Entre corto: 40% coffee and 60% milk.
  • Corto 30% coffee and 70% milk.
  • Sombra: 20% coffee and 80% milk.
  • Nube: 10% coffee and 90% milk.

And you may wonder, what is the tenth type of coffee? This peculiar drink is called “no me pongas nada”, since when the 9 names of coffee came up, they did not want the number to be odd and proposed naming this coffee (non-existent) so that the number would sound top!
